Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Does Claire Come Back?

Just like Farmer Thomas, Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) fans were left stunned when frontrunner Claire abruptly left the show during a one-on-one date. However, after a cheeky off-screen texting scandal, it appears that she could be making a return. So, does Claire come back to Farmer Wants A Wife?

Hold ya horses! This article contains Farmer Wants A Wife 2025 spoilers. Mosey on with caution.

While FWAW is known to be one of the most wholesome matchmaking shows out there, this year’s rodeo has been quite the doozy.

What makes this season stand out is not only its off-screen drama, but also the fact that there have been a number of contestants who’ve abruptly left the show. Unfortunately, for Farmer Thomas, Claire was one of those who left before things could get serious.

But now, it has been revealed that even though Claire has left the farm, the pair have continued their connection via text.

In a teaser for this week’s episodes, Farmer Thomas reveals to his fellow farmers that he’s been texting Claire ever since she left the farm, and it’s also been teased that one of his suitors (potentially frontrunner, Clarette) finds out about their off-screen digital rendezvous.

Also, shortly after her shock exit from the show, Claire admitted to Yahoo! Lifestyle that Thomas had texted her following the dramatic shebang.

“I don’t know if I’m even allowed to say this, but we had exchanged numbers, so we were texting. I don’t know if that’s allowed,” she revealed.

“We obviously had the 24-hour date, so I think we exchanged numbers on the day after the date or the morning of. But me being me, I was like, I’m not going to text you first. So yes, there were a few text messages exchanged.”

She also confirmed to the publication that their little texting saga becomes a storyline on the show when someone finds out about the whole shebang, telling people she “may have pissed people off with some actions”.

With that strong, strong connection… could this mean Claire would be back for another shot at love? Here’s what we know so far.

Does Claire return to Farmer Wants A Wife 2025?

While she was a frontrunner for Thomas, according to Yahoo! Lifestyle, she unfortunately does not make a return to the series.

Speaking to the publication, Claire confirmed FWAW producers asked her to return. However, she refused because of her hair — and honestly, I get it, diva!!!

“I’d had a full Britney [Spears] moment and I’d already cut my hair into a bob, so I was like, ‘No, can’t come back’,” she dished.

“Also, I was thinking like, if I did come back, the backlash would’ve probably been like, ‘Who does she think she is? She can’t get a second chance’.

“If it hadn’t been for the bob, I probably would have gone back. Imagine that! Could you imagine the look on Clarette’s face when I walked back in?”

When asked if she regretted her decision to yeet on out of the rodeo, Claire said no, but she reckons she didn’t give Thomas a proper chance.

“Being in front of the camera, I was so self-conscious just with my hair and my fat face that I was like, no, I can’t do it anymore. So I’m glad I left when I did, because I would have still been cringing,” she shared.

Welp, there ya have it. While it appears that Clarette could be Thomas’ FWAW frontrunner, the introduction of this year’s intruders could throw a spanner into the works… or maybe even Thomas’ texting confession could ruin their strong bond.

I guess we’ll have to see.

Farmer Wants A Wife 2025 airs Mondays and Tuesdays on Channel Seven and 7Plus.
