Nasty legal disputes are no stranger to the Bravoverse but Raquel Leviss made history when she took out a restraining order against fellow “Vanderpump Rules” castmate Scheana Shay in 2023.
Leviss’ request for a TRO was granted by a judge after she claimed Shay physically assaulted her, which Shay denied through her attorney. Perhaps most notable for fans of the show was that the “Vanderpump Rules” reunion taping — hosted by Bravo impresario Andy Cohen — still carried on, with Leviss and Shay switching places throughout the taping to avoid being in close proximity to each other, with one of them being on the set with Cohen and the rest of the cast, and the other watching remotely elsewhere in the building.
Now, Shay is telling her own side of the story in a new memoir, out July 22. Titled “My Good Side: A Memoir,” Shay’s memoir is currently available to pre-order on Amazon. You can also order an audiobook version, which you can download for free with this Audible membership trial.
Shay was uniquely affected by the infamous “Scandoval” in Season 10 of the show — the nickname for the cheating scandal that led to the breakup of cast members Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix — because she and Sandoval had been friends for years before the show began. During the 11th season, Shay was seen openly weeping about missing their friendship, while she continues to be angry at Sandoval — and also wanting to stay loyal to Madix.
Since wrapping “Vanderpump Rules,” Shay has stayed in the spotlight, starring in “The Masked Singer” in the most recent season, where she was unmasked as The Bat. She also guest starred alongside her husband Brock Davies in George Lopez’s “Lopez vs. Lopez.”
