Osher Günsberg Hits Back At Judges On Dancing With The Stars

Well, after a pretty great run sashaying, shimmying and boogying his way across the Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) dance floor, Osher Günsberg has been eliminated from the competition. But our beloved former Bachelor king did not go down without a fight.

On Sunday night, the 51-year-old media personality performed a tango with his dance partner Sriani Argaet. Although it was a vibe holistically, the judges weren’t too impressed with the performance, with judge Craig Revel Horwood describing it as a “right royal mess”.

“I don’t know what step that was meant to be coming down that ramp, darling, but whatever it was, it was fumbled,” Horwood quipped.

After putting his entire bussy into his performance, Günsberg clapped back.

“Would you like to try going down that perspex ramp in those heels, sir? You are more than welcome to show me how to do it,” he said.

“That’s not my job,” Horwood replied.

“…But I need you to be doing it in a tango step while the person next to you is on one foot, kicking, and you’re holding their momentum against you,” Günsberg continued in a lighthearted yet assertive tone. Reow!!!!!

Horwood advised that the pair should have done a simpler dance so they might have executed the technique better, but Günsberg disagreed.

“Where’s the fun in trying something that’s not really risky?” the podcaster questioned.

“You saw the dance I did last episode, Craig. I took big risks. You said to take big risks. I would rather do it and have it not work, and give it a shot.”

Sadly for Günsberg and Argaet, that’s exactly what happened. After copping a total of 15 points, the pair were eliminated from the competition. However, on social media, fans were quick to flock to the comments to share their support for Günsberg and his tango.

“Loved it and you gave your best, well done Osher,” commented one fan.

“I so enjoyed Osher’s performance! It was gritty, and he gave it his all,” wrote another.

“Not gonna lie, I cheered when Osher gave it back to Craig,” quipped a fan.

While this marks the end of Günsberg’s journey on the show, there are still a bunch of celebs hitting the floor each week in the hopes of claiming the coveted mirror ball trophy.

Dancing With The Stars airs on Sunday at 7pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
