
within the framework of the efforts made by higher education and scientific research institutions in Egypt to support the state’s efforts in the face of & nbsp; Challenges of climate changes that threaten food security, the Arab Society for Genetic Engineering and Pi -Technology organizes, next Monday, a workshop entitled & quot; Vegetable molecular education to enhance the ability to adapt to climate change & quot;.

The workshop is held under the supervision of the Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biological Technologies at the National Research Center, and sponsored by Prof. Mamdouh Moawad, head of the center, and Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, former head of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Society for Genetic Engineering and Pi -Technology, and Dr. Mazza Imran, Dean of the Institute of Biotechnology at the center.

said Prof. Nabila Abdel -Maksoud, Secretary General of the Association, that the workshop is held with the participation of about 250 researchers and researchers, and they represent more than 20 universities and a research center.

and the coordinator of the workshop, Dr. Doaa Hassan Ali & Nbsp; Developing new varieties of barley and wheat more tolerance of dehydration and salinity, genetic editing (Genome Eding) and its applications in improving food crops, and a comprehensive view of the Egyptian wheat education program."RTL"> & nbsp;
The workshop is attended by a distinguished elite of scientists and experts from the universities of Cairo, Nile, Zagazig, the Desert Research Center, the National Research Center, and the Genetics Bank in Germany. Providing a platform for scientific communication, exchanging knowledge and experiences, and highlighting the latest scientific developments and research ongoing in this Domain.
