Former Premier League champion told mistress he was ‘serving GOD’ after ‘asking her to arrange a threesome with a friend’ as leaked messages cause explosive row

A former Premier League champion has found himself embroiled in a cheating scandal after leaked messages appear to show him attempting to arrange a threesome with his mistress.
According to a report from Brazilian outlet LeoDias, former Arsenal and Chelsea defender David Luiz is at the heart of the controversy.
Luiz – who is currently playing his club football in Cyprus with first division side Pafos – is engaged to Bruna Loureiro, with whom he has two children.
However, the the 38-year-old is alleged to have been having an extramarital affair with a woman named Karol Cavalcante.
Cavalcante revealed the pair became close after speaking over social media and has leaked what are purported to be private Instagram messages between her and the former Brazilian international.
‘We started talking, and as the days went by, the exchange of messages became more and more frequent.’ Cavalcante told LeoDias.

‘After our first meeting in Fortaleza, we continued to talk on Instagram, but temporarily.
‘He even suggested having a threesome with my friend, but I didn’t want to get involved.
‘I started to notice that he was acting somewhat aggressively towards me, and that made me feel insecure and worried. He always hinted that he could do something to me.’
Screenshots of a conversation purporting to be between Luiz and Cavalcante appear to show the devout Christian imploring his lover that ‘serving the Lord is the way’, and telling her to use legal action to stop a third party leaking their relationship.
‘Why are you worried? She has no business saying or doing anything. If she does, just sue her. Serving the Lord is the way forward.’
In a statement released through his management agency on Saturday Luiz denied having ever met Cavalcante.
‘As previously reported, although there was a brief exchange via text message, there was never any face-to-face meeting between David Luiz and the person making the contrary allegations.’ The statement read.
‘According to an official statement from the Magna Praia Hotel, there is no record of the player staying at the hotel to date.

He later shared a statement on social media where he denied having met Cavalcante in person
‘David Luiz reaffirms his commitment to the truth and is confident that the facts will be duly clarified.’
Meanwhile Luiz’s long-time partner took to social media with a cryptic message in the wake of the scandal.
‘I hope good times find you wherever you are, even on the most ordinary days,’ Loureiro wrote on Instagram.
‘May they arrive unexpectedly, like a beautiful coincidence seemingly written by the universe.
‘May they come as a source of peace after a difficult day. May good times always be your path, even when you’re not looking for them.
Luiz initially arrived in the Premier League in the January window of 2011 having joined Chelsea from Portuguese side Benfica.
The experienced central defender would go on to enjoy two spells at Stamford Bridge sandwiched between a stint in Ligue 1 with PSG.
At the end of his second season in west London Luiz was named in Roberto Di Matteo’s starting XI for the club’s Champions League final clash with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
After Juan Mata missed Chelsea’s opening spot-kick, Luiz emphatically netted from 12 yards as the Blues went on to be crowned European Champions for the first time.
After leaving Chelsea for a second time in 2019, Luiz went on to spend two seasons with Arsenal and won the FA Cup with the Gunners in his first season at the Emirates.
