A 22-year-old man has died after an accident on the slopes at Thredbo Alpine Resort.
Emergency services, the Thredbo Ski Patrol and Medical Centre doctor were called to the scene about 12.10pm on Tuesday.
The young skier died at the scene following the tragic incident, a NSW Police spokesperson confirmed.
A Thredbo Alpine Resort spokesman said they were deeply saddened by the tragedy.
‘The Thredbo community extends its heartfelt condolences to family and friends during this incredibly difficult time,’ a spokesman said.
Monaro Police District officers will prepare a report for the coroner.
