It’s a great day to be a Francophile because after months of speculation, we finally have a clue about where the next season of The White Lotus will be filmed.

According to insider sources, series creator Mike White is keen to take audiences away from the sun-soaked beachside luxury hotels we know and love from the show and take us to the calm magic of the French Riviera. That’s right, folks, The White Lotus is reportedly going to France. Très bien, non?
While there has been no official word from HBO, insiders have told Deadline that production has their eyes on France — specifically the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat.
The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat is a luxury, five-star Four Seasons hotel located at the top of the Cap-Ferrat peninsula in the south of France. It has gorgeous architecture, sweeping views and the perfect amount of energy which screams, “holy shit, this is expensive”.

Thanks to HBO’s marketing partnership with the fancy hotel chain, every season of the drama series has been filmed at a Four Seasons resort.
Season one was filmed at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, season two took place at Four Seasons Taormina at San Domenico Palace, while season three was shot predominantly at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samu.
However, despite the long-running ties between the hotel and The White Lotus, sources say that no hotel has been locked in or booked out for filming just yet. And, as the series sometimes uses multiple resorts to shoot the show, it’s unclear whether a Four Seasons location will be the primary shooting spot for season four.
