The husband of a human resources executive caught cozying up to her married boss at a Coldplay concert was actually at the same infamous concert – with his own date.
Andrew Cabot, who had been married to ousted Astronomer executive Kristin Cabot, 52, for two years, earlier broke his silence to confirm he had separated from his wife at the time of the scandal.
But now, new details have emerged to reveal he, too, had moved on from the relationship, and was in fact with his new love at the same Coldplay concert.
‘Kristin was in the box with people from work, though it wasn’t a company box, and Andrew was actually there too with a date, with a woman who is now his girlfriend,’ a source told The Times of London.
‘They had been separated and living apart for several weeks. It was amicable…. [Cabot] has felt like she can’t speak out as people in the middle of a divorce can’t say anything public.’
The source went on to address Cabot’s ill-fated decision to duck and hide when the camera panned to her and Astronomer CEO Andy Byron cuddling.
The move caught the eye of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who said: ‘Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.’
Byron, seeing himself on the big screen, appeared to mutter, ‘F****** hell, it’s me.’

It was that moment which ultimately went viral and cost both Cabot and Byron their jobs.
‘Kristin wasn’t hiding, she doesn’t know why she ducked. She knew it was inappropriate to behave that way with her boss as the head of HR,’ the insider said.
‘It was not that she was caught cheating, it was not some affair,’ they said. ‘She fully acknowledges [the hug] was inappropriate, but that was the only inappropriate thing she did.’
According to the source, Cabot and Byron share nothing more than ‘a great friendship.’
Andrew was said to have been ‘blindsided’ when he found reporters outside the $2.2million waterfront home in Rye, New Hampshire that he shared with his wife and his two children.
He felt compelled to confirm to People that he and Cabot were already ‘privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert.’
‘Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening,’ a spokesperson for Andrew, who is the CEO of Privateer Rum, told the outlet.
‘Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued.’

Byron’s 50-year-old wife Megan Kerrigan, with whom he shares two children, quickly moved out of their marital home and returned her wedding ring in the days following the kiss-cam blunder.
She even removed her married name ‘Byron’ from her Facebook page online – before she decided to just delete the account altogether.
Meanwhile, Astronomer was forced to go on the offensive – quickly putting both Byron and Cabot on leave before they resigned.
‘Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI,’ the company said in a statement amid the scandal.
‘While awareness of our company may have changed over night our product and our work for our customers have not.’
