The 24-year-old, best known for her hit “Messy”, was seen swaying before falling backwards mid-set at the All Things Go music festival at Forest Hills Stadium on Saturday.
She later scrapped her scheduled Sunday appearance at the Washington DC leg of the same festival.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Young addressed the situation, writing: “I’m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future. Thank you for all the love and support. I’m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know.
“Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund.
“I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger. Love you all, Lola x.”

The singer collapsed mid-performance while singing “Conceited” from her second studio album This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway.
Following the incident, rapper Doechii (real name Jaylah Hickmon), who took the stage after Young, led the crowd in a supportive chant of “we love you Lola”.
“She’s an incredibly talented artist, and she wasn’t feeling well tonight, and I’m so glad you guys were there to support her and hold her up. Let’s wish her the best, OK everybody?” the “Anxiety” singer said on stage.
Young, who has often spoken openly about mental health, had already pulled out of a scheduled show at New Jersey’s Prudential Center on Friday.
She previously apologised for collapsing on stage via Instagram, writing: “For anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing okay now. Thank you for all of your support”.

The singer recently released her third studio album, I’m Only F**king Myself, and was slated to tour across England and Scotland in October. Further dates had been booked for the US, Mexico and Canada in November and December, with shows planned in South America and Europe through 2026.
Throughout her career, Young has scored three UK top 40 singles, one top 10 album, and earlier this year received the prestigious Ivors Rising Star award.
