The Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Civil Aviation receive ambassadors of Western and African countries
Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, and Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, received today, Saturday, the ambassadors of Western and African countries accredited to Egypt at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs reviewed the remarkable development witnessed by the civil aviation sector in Egypt, which reflects the great support that the Egyptian state gives to the aviation sector as it is one of the pillars of economic development. And its firm commitment to enhancing international cooperation and multilateral action at the technical and administrative levels.
In turn, the Minister of Civil Aviation, Sameh El-Hafny, reviewed Egypt’s election to the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). For the second category within the framework of the 42nd session of the organization’s General Assembly, which came as a culmination of the position that Egypt enjoys in the field of civil aviation, and a confirmation of the confidence that the organization attaches to the active role that Egypt plays in specialized international organizations.
