The Prime Minister reviews the executive position following the launch of the first version of the national narrative for economic development

He met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, this evening; Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, to review the executive position following the launch of the first edition of the National Narrative for Economic Development.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat reviewed the executive position for community dialogue and the various sessions following the launch of the first edition of the National Narrative for Economic Development, whether through the “Participate in the Narrative” campaign, which witnessed the downloading of more than 68 thousand narrative chapters, or through discussions with relevant ministers, economic experts, private sector representatives, parliamentarians, party representatives, writers and thinkers, reviewing the most prominent recommendations and proposals made by the working group on the narrative chapters.
The Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation also reviewed the executive program for the national narrative for economic development for the period (2026). /2027-2030/2029), which is based on program methodology and performance. She explained that the program’s priorities include enhancing macroeconomic stability and financial sustainability, in addition to increasing competitiveness and productivity.
It also aims to create an attractive competitive business environment to enhance private sector participation, and encourage technological transformation, innovation and entrepreneurship. The priorities also included developing the foreign trade system, maximizing foreign exchange resources, investing in human capital, improving the quality of life of citizens, empowering women and youth, while achieving social justice, and transitioning to a sustainable green economy.
