Haunting texts reveal Charlie Kirk predicted his own assassination

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk predicted his own assassination more than seven years before he was killed, Candace Owens has claimed.

The late conservative activist voiced his concerns to Owens in a series of text messages in April 2018, she shared in the latest episode of her Candace podcast

Kirk was tragically gunned down on September 10 as he spoke with students at Utah Valley University and died shortly after. Tyler Robinson, 22, has been charged with his murder.

But Owens, his longtime friend and former colleague, has now shared how Kirk would ‘dream’ about being assassinated ‘all the time’.

‘If I tell you the true prophecy I know in my gut it’s really sad,’ Kirk allegedly texted Owens. ‘But I hope its wrong.’

‘Anyway I am not sure if I will live to see the end of this revolution.’

‘Since the beginning of TPUSA I knew in my gut that I might get wiped out at any time,’ he added. ‘I cannot explain it.’

Kirk told Owens that although he dreamt about his murder, he was ‘not really afraid of it’ and was ‘just telling you what I know to be true’.

There has been rising concern among conservative circles over Owens’s theories about Kirk’s murder, including that Israel may have played a role in the assassination.

Kirk also compared himself to Moses, the prophet who led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and delivered the Ten Commandments.

‘I might be Moses tho. I might not see this whole thing through lmao,’ he wrote, according to the messages published by Owens.

Owens served as TPUSA’s communications director from 2017 to 2019.

The pair were ‘tight’ at the time, but eventually had a professional ‘break-up,’ TPUSA advisory board member Eric Bolling told the PBD podcast in September.

Bolling claimed that Owens’s ‘theories got just a little bit too down the rabbit holes’ for Kirk and that she was ‘too extreme’ for TPUSA.

‘Charlie, to his credit, kept a cordial friendship with her for years, but it hasn’t been a communication pipeline between the two for many years,’ Bolling added.

In the same episode of her podcast, Owens touted a conspiracy theory about the assassination and Kirk’s right-hand man Mikey McCoy.

The claims, first published by two little-known right-wing content creators, included allegations that McCoy behaved suspiciously in the immediate aftermath of the shooting.

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of the Charlie Kirk Show,  slammed the ‘extremely disgusting attack’ on Kirk’s closest friend, as he rubbished theories about McCoy that swirl around his ‘swift departure’ from the scene while ‘mysteriously’ using his phone.

‘Someone made a video that is attacking Mikey, Charlie’s friend, Charlie’s chief of staff, a guy all of us know, a guy who we’ve seen on the show here the last few weeks,’ Kolvet said.

‘They are attacking him, claiming based on a few seconds of clips that he allegedly has like a nonchalant or calm reaction to Charlie’s murder,’ Kolvet continued.

‘I’m just going to be blunt about this. This is an extremely disgusting attack.’

Owens led her audience to draw similar conclusions during her show.

‘Mikey was behind the tent when Charlie got shot and Mikey, in less than a second, does something that I find to be quite strange. He puts his phone to his ear and he begins a conversation,’ she said.

The provocateur played the clip showing McCoy with his phone up to his ear immediately after Kirk was shot.

Owens claims that ‘there was no dialing, Mikey didn’t have time to dial.’

She also claimed that when she approached McCoy abut the call, he did not respond.

Kolvet said that he had spoken to McCoy about what he did afterwards, but that both of them were so traumatized and in shock at the time they struggle to remember.

McCoy does recall however that he called Erika Kirk, Charlie’s wife, and then his father, pastor Robert McCoy.

Owens also said during the Monday evening episode of her show, that she thought she ‘would be fighting for answers for what actually happened on 9/10 alongside Charlie Kirk’s inner circle.’

Kirk was shot dead on September 10 while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. Tyler Robinson, 22, a left-wing college dropout, has been charged with his assassination.

Kirk’s widow, Erika, joined President Donald Trump at the White House earlier this month to accept the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously on her husband’s behalf.

Kirk had built Turning Point USA into one of the most influential conservative youth organizations in America, known for its campus activism and annual conferences that drew thousands of young conservatives.

After his death, Erika publicly delivered a statement vowing to carry on his work as the new CEO of the organization.

Trump memorably eulogized Kirk at his memorial service days later and comforted Erika who mourned the loss of her husband.

The Daily Mail has approached Owens and Turning Point USA for comment.
