Michael Raphael: The Brotherhood’s escape from Sweden confirms the correctness of the Egyptian vision regarding the danger of harboring extremist groups

The Egyptian National Party confirmed that the repeated escape of the terrorist Brotherhood from one country to another, the most recent of which was attempts to flee Sweden after the worsening economic crisis that its members are experiencing there as a result of the accumulation of debts and taxes, clearly reflects the nature of this group, which is accustomed to exploiting homelands rather than belonging to them.

Counsel Michael Raphael, head of the party, explained in his press statements that the Brotherhood never knew the concept of the state or respect for its institutions, but rather they made it slogans. Religious beliefs are a means to achieve political and financial gains, while they use the rhetoric of victimhood whenever their paths become difficult or their practices are exposed to public opinion.

Raphael pointed out that what is happening today in Sweden is only a new episode in a long series of collective escape that the group has become accustomed to carrying out whenever the countries that host some of its members discover the truth about their agendas and their efforts to destabilize internal security and exploit the space of freedom to spread hate speech and extremism.

He continued: With the imposition of taxes And the legitimate financial restrictions, the members of the group found themselves facing an economic reality that they could not circumvent, which led them to try to leave in search of a new environment that would enable them to reproduce their propaganda activity and raise funds under the umbrella of “religion.” And “charitable work”, which are slogans from which countries have only reaped chaos and division.

Raphael stressed that the increasing restrictions on Brotherhood members in various European countries is not a passing matter, but rather is the culmination of repeated Egyptian warnings over the years, during which it warned the political leadership and the relevant agencies of the danger of harboring these extremist groups.

He added that Egypt was one of the first countries to reveal the true nature of the Brotherhood, It provided the world with conclusive evidence of their connection to terrorist organizations and their long record of incitement, violence, and management of suspicious financing networks.

The head of the Egyptian National Party considered that the comprehensive review of the Brotherhood file that Europe is witnessing today confirms that the Egyptian vision was clear and correct, and that international cooperation in confronting extremist ideology is no longer an option but rather a necessity to protect societies from the dangers of ideological penetration.
