Terrifying double life of 63-year-old man who made living organizing ‘princess’ events for little girls where he played king

A Utah man who pretended to be a king at princess-themed parties for little girls was leading a sickening double life buying and producing child pornography.
Perry Jay Hunter, 63, was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison on Monday for traveling to the Philippines to exploit children, the US Attorney’s Office Central District of California told the Daily Mail.
The pedophile was also ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution for his despicable actions which prosecutors said occurred over the course of several years.
He admitted to one count of sexual exploitation of a child as part of a plea deal which saw 16 charges dropped.
The Midvale man had a registered LLC called Princess Festival. He ‘role-played the king and various young girls got to play princess,’ the US Attorney’s Office said.
A 2014 poster from his business remains on his Facebook profile, showing him dressed as a king, bowing to a young girl in a pink princess gown who curtsies back at him.
Hunter started using WhatsApp to message parents in the Philippines about ‘engaging in illicit sexual conduct with their daughters’ in 2020, according to a criminal complaint.
The creep also ‘appeared to solicit and pay for the production of child pornography,’ per the document.

Graphic content investigators found on his devices victimized children as young as three to five-years-old, investigators said.
Hunter traveled to the Southeast Asian country in September 2023 to meet with a mother he had been texting.
The complaint says that he ‘discussed the illicit sexual acts he intended to perform’ with the child in conversations with the woman leading up to the trip.
He returned to the US in October 2023 and landed at the Los Angeles International Airport.
Customs and Border Protection agents conducted a border search and went through his phone where they discovered child sex abuse material (CSAM).
The complaint says that he waived his Miranda rights while speaking with investigators and told them he had ‘a sexual interest in young children’ and that he paid a Filipina mother to take inappropriate pictures of her daughter.
He also admitted that he has sent tens of thousands of dollars to women for photos of themselves and their kids.
Hunter was arrested in December 2023 and charged with multiple crimes under Utah state law.

He was transferred into federal custody in Los Angeles in October 2024, a spokesperson for the US Attorney’s office told the Daily Mail.
While none of his charges were connected to the Princess Festival events he hosted, the investigator handling the complaint noted that they gave him ‘access to children’.
He reportedly told agents in an interview: ‘They had me in a king chair and I was on the chair, little girls would want to come up here, and I wouldn’t let them sit on my lap because I didn’t want any idea of that.’
The investigator also alleged that he discovered that a minor had accused Hunter of sexual assault in 2014.
The alleged victim told police that she was abused by Hunter after she and her mother moved in with him in 2013.
Hunter would allegedly touch her inappropriately and make sexual remarks toward her, per a police report.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Hunter’s attorney, Lisa LaBarre, for comment.
