Honeymoon from hell: Controversial MAFS groom Tyson shocks as he makes sexist comments about his wife Stephanie’s eating habits and her past sexual partners during their post-wedding getaway
Anti-woke groom Tyson Gordon quickly found himself on the outs with his bride, Stephanie Marshall, on Tuesday’s dramatic episode of Married At First Sight.
After ending their wedding night with an awkward run-in over gender politics and children, the pair headed to a beachside resort for their honeymoon.
Things quickly turned hellish over their first lunch as husband and wife, with Tyson taking swipes at Stephanie’s eating habits.
It got ugly moments later when the Honeymoon Box arrived with questions about the pair’s romantic history, leading to an outburst from Tyson.
Stephanie could hardly contain her anger when Tyson declared that he had had to escort a former girlfriend from his home after she confessed to having ’78 lovers’.
Joking that he was concerned about attracting HIV from his ex, Tyson declared: ‘If a girl has a high body count, she probably has daddy issues as well.’

Confessing that he had ’20-30′ ex-partners himself, Tyson said he felt that women should ‘control themselves’ sexually.
He added that the standard for men, when it came to intimate activity, was ‘different’, because they were driven by testosterone.
In an on-camera aside, Tyson revealed his ideal body count for a partner was ‘zero’, and was clearly disappointed when Stephanie said she had had ‘about 20 sexual partners’.
‘That’s a bit of a problem [for me],’ he said.
‘The problem is you enjoy lust over finding a soulmate,’ he added to a clearly shocked Stephanie.
Explaining that a lot of her sexual experience had occurred while she was in her 20s, Stephanie added that she had not slept with anyone for three years.
‘I had to bite my tongue…I just love watching him judge because it says so much about him,’ she said later.
Elsewhere in the episode, Stephanie was taken aback when Tyson told her over lunch, ‘Damn, you can eat.’
‘It’s not always about what you say, it’s about how you say it,’ she responded later in an interview with producers.

As they shared their meal, Tyson said he wanted to take a time-out for some fitness.
‘My rig requires a lot of maintenance – it’s like a Ferrari, I almost don’t want to buy it, it’s so much maintenance,’ he said, to which an amused Stephanie replied: ‘Oh, listen to him.’
Things got worse for the newlyweds, who returned to their room and continued to argue over what had happened over lunch.
After a tiring row in which Tyson attacked Stephanie for her ‘masculine energy’, the pair elected to spend time in different rooms.
‘He wants someone to bow down to him,’ an exasperated Stephanie shared, while Tyson appeared ready to abandon the experiment.
‘I’m over it, I don’t want a loudmouth,’ he said.
