Soccer star James Rodriguez rushed to the hospital following World Cup warmup clash with France

Colombia captain James Rodriguez was rushed to the hospital after showing signs of ‘severe dehydration’ following last week’s clash with France.
Colombia was beaten 3-1 by Les Bleus in Maryland in a pre-World Cup friendly game on Sunday.
On Thursday, the Colombian Football Federation released a statement confirming the former Real Madrid star had spent 72 in the hospital.
‘The day after the match against France, the player presented symptoms of severe dehydration, which necessitated his hospitalization over the past 72 hours for preventive clinical monitoring and recovery,’ it read.
