The biggest fashion collaborations you missed in April

It might feel like April Fool’s Day was just yesterday, but we’ve come to the end of the month. If you were hoping for April to be calmer than February and March (fashion season), you’ll have been disappointed. This month, Milan Design Week was the talk of the town, not to mention global fashion events such as Coachella and the release of The Devil Wears Prada 2 (read our interview with costume designer Molly Rogers here). Of course, there’s been a wave of brand new fashion collabs to lighten our wallets too. Below, we round up the very best of them.

Finally, temperatures are hotting up and we’re daydreaming about our summer holidays. We might not know where we’re going, but at least we know what we’ll be wearing, thanks to Burberry and Hunza G, who have linked up on a new swimwear collab. Daniel Lee’s latest ready-to-wear collection might’ve been all about the rain, but Burberry is beach-ready. See here

Earlier this year, we met the Vetements-trained design duo behind Swedish brand Prototypes, and now they’re making waves with the help of streetwear label Alpha Industries. The two brands have joined forces for a new collaboration, naturally reinterpreting the classic bomber. See here.

The FIFA World Cup is just around the corner, so what better time for New Balance to team up with Amsterdam-based, football-inspired brand Lack of Guidance? The two brands have come together to celebrate the sport’s impact on global communities, featuring a campaign titled Around the World. See here.

It’s always a winner. Wales Bonner and adidas Originals have been working together since 2020, producing hit after hit and sustaining their reputation as some of the world’s most coveted trainers. Last week, the two brands unveiled their SS26 collection, featuring footwear and apparel. See here.

Meooow. It’s been a big month for adidas Originals. As well as dropping its new Wales Bonner SS26 collection, the brand also revealed its latest collab with LA brand Miaou. Earlier this week, they dropped the new adidas Megaride silhouette by Miaou, as well as a new apparel range. The collection launches today, here

It’s been a busy month for Kenzo creative director and BAPE founder, Nigo. Not only does he have a major retrospective exhibition opening at London’s Design Museum (watch our interview with the curator here), he’s also just dropped a new Nike collab, putting a new spin on the Air Force 1, ‘2GO’. There are only 50 pairs, so get them quick!

If you thought Isamaya Ffrench only designed beauty products, you’d be wrong! Ahead of last weekend’s London Marathon, the makeup artist released a marathon capsule collection, teaming up with Nike once again. The metallic collection features footwear and apparel and is available now, here

Last month, MM6 teamed up with Supreme, and this month, the Margiela diffusion line has hooked up with Salomon. The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Drop One revisits the XT-MM6 and XT-15 backpack. It also introduces a whole new silhouette, Cross Dust. Available now, here.
