Beatrice and Eugenie are spotted at a wedding in Vienna while Royal Family attended Trooping the Colour

Princess Beatrice and Eugenie were spotted at a Wedding in Vienna while the Royal Family attended the Trooping the Colour.

The princesses were at the wedding of the Schwarzenberg family at Saint Charles Church in the Austrian capital yesterday.

The siblings have been rarely seen in public after the fallout from their disgraced father and mother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, for their connection to the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 36, appear to be coming out more regularly however, as they were last seen together at their cousin Peter Phillips’s wedding on June 6 at All Saints’ Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire.

A month earlier, on May 6, Eugenie was seen walking in central London – two days after the announcement she was pregnant with her third child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank.

Before that, the pair were snapped together on May 1 when out for a meal in Mayfair.

Eugenie was also seen at a high society wedding in Sicily a few days earlier on April 25 – her first public appearance in months prior.

The sighting is not the only one to have happened to the family in Austria.

Sarah Ferguson, 66, was spotted staying at a luxury £2,000-a-night ski apartment in Altaussee, near Salzburg, on April 16.

This was the first time she was seen in public since 2025, and after the release of the Epstein files, in which her name heavily featured alongside her disgraced former husband.

After her deluxe flat was compromised, she urgently sought refuge with friends.

Despite a disastrous few months for the Mountbatten-Windsors, which culminated with the arrest of Andrew in February, Eugenie and sister Beatrice are believed to have been invited to Royal Ascot by King Charles.

The sisters are in line for an appearance in the official carriage procession and Royal Enclosure at the racing festival this June.

Andrew was seen with a large mystery bruise on his face last Saturday as he drove out of Sandringham.

It is not clear how he got the bruise, but a source close to Mr Mountbatten-Windsor told the Daily Mail that the bruise is not a ’cause for concern’.

Doctors told the Mail that patients can get bruises like this from minor knocks if they are on blood thinners.

They could also be the result of facial surgery, or if the patient ‘has been punched in the face’.

But they stressed it was impossible to say which of these, if any, is the case with Mr Mountbatten-Windsor. Yesterday, he was spotted driving again and the bruise was mostly healed.

He has rarely been seen in public since a security scare at Sandringham last month.

The disgraced royal had been walking the late Queen Elizabeth’s corgis when he was approached by a balaclava-clad man who allegedly ran towards him.

The suspect was apparently agitated and shouted at him from 50 yards away.

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor, who was with a bodyguard, ran back towards his own car and drove off at speed.

He was said to have been left ‘shaken’ by the incident and was asked for a statement, as was his personal protection officer.

Meanwhile, Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has also been facing fresh allegations relating to his friendship with the late paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

It was revealed last week that police were investigating claims that he allegedly behaved inappropriately towards a woman who was working as a waitress at Royal Ascot.

The claim, dating back almost a quarter of a century, is now being examined by detectives as part of a much wider investigation into Mr Mountbatten-Windsor over alleged misconduct in public office.

According to sources, Ferguson barely left her first-floor two-bedroom chalet overlooking the stunningly beautiful lake since checking in nearly a month ago, and was never seen on the large balcony.

She ordered all her meals via room service – bresaola beef with mozzarella was a favourite, as was chicken breast.

She was never seen on the resort’s walking trails, or down by the lake, or at its clay tennis courts. Her contact with the outside world was kept at a bare minimum, though she had her hair done on March 24 by a visiting stylist.

Sources close to Fergie say that she remains in constant touch with her daughters princesses Beatrice and Eugenie on the phone, while both of them have been increasingly concerned over her mental health.
