Panic as NYC’s Brooklyn Bridge erupts in FLAMES during Macy’s July 4 fireworks extravaganza

New York City’s Brooklyn Bridge erupted in flames during the Macy’s July 4 fireworks extravaganza on Saturday.

Video posted online showed a flume of smoke billowing into the sky from a ball of fire on the span over the East River as fireworks burst around it.

The fire was extinguished shortly thereafter, a Daily Mail reporter noted.
