Australian influencer shocks with her ‘non-existent waist’ after controversial procedure as she reveals her boyfriend can fit his hands right around her midsection
An Australian influencer who underwent the controversial ‘Barbie waist’ procedure has shocked with her non-existent midsection.
Matilda Baxter, 23, freaked out her followers on Thursday when she revealed that her partner could fit his hands right around her tiny waist in an Instagram clip.
Donning the black corset she is required to wear after getting her bottom ribs fractured to make her look slimmer, it appeared as though Matilda had no waist at all.
The adult content creator added to the optical illusion by wearing a bright orange cut-out dress.
‘Guys, waist is non-existent. I am a Barbie Doll,’ Matilda said as her partner wrapped his hands around her middle.
The clip shocked many of her 62,000 Instagram followers, with several leaving messages of concern and outrage.

‘Urgh no. Women were not made to look that way. Each to their own,’ one said.
‘This is incredibly concerning. Wearing a waist trainer on an already extremely thin frame and asking, “Where’s my waist?” glorifies an unhealthy and unrealistic body standard. This isn’t positive influence..it’s harmful messaging, especially for impressionable young women,’ another said.
‘Sending out a search party for your waist because it’s MISSING,’ one more added.
It comes after Matilda lashed out over cruel comments about her changing appearance earlier this week.
‘If you have to put me through a group chat to talk s**t about how different I look, saying that I look like a Holocaust survivor with bolt-ons, then you are the lowest of the low,’ she began the lengthy rant.
‘Let’s dive a little deeper into this… You are allowed to look completely different from how you looked a year ago, or a week ago, or ten minutes ago,’ she continued.
‘If you’re liking, commenting, sharing, putting it in group chats, b***hing, the negativity only brings money towards me.
‘I love how people say, “You are unrecognisable”. Like I was supposed to be offended. Dig up the old photos, keep b***hing about it, keep comparing, because at the end of the day I’m still a topic of discussion.’

Matilda went on to show photos of herself before she underwent the Barbie waist procedure and what she estimates is $50,000 to $100,000 worth of plastic surgery, and insisted she is happy with her new look and enjoying the attention it attracts.
‘If it’s a group chat, a conversation, a headline, whatever, I’m still a topic in your boring f***ing life, okay? It makes me money,’ she said.
‘Some people glow up and grow up, while all the others are in comment sections and group chats bullying and b***hing.’
The influencer then showed off how small her surgically-enhanced waist is, demonstrating how it is narrower than her hands, and her new Chanel bag, which she also held up for comparison.
‘If I’m being talked about in your group chat, clearly I’ve won the game,’ she concluded.
Matilda has sparked plenty of concern in the weeks after her rib contouring procedure.
Earlier this year, she raised eyebrows after uploading a video of herself wearing lingerie as she showed off her new figure.
‘It looks insane. Not edited. Waist where?’ she said.
She has been open about her surgical procedures, which have included high-definition liposuction, a boob job, hip surgery and a ‘Barbie waist’ procedure
Followers flocked to the comments of her video to express their concern over her slimmed-down frame.
‘All I am seeing is the bones,’ one person wrote, while another added: ‘Omg I remember when I looked like this. I was so sick.’
‘Please eat more, your ribs are freaking me out,’ said a third.
‘I’m not here to negatively judge but more protein and carbohydrates are needed. Stay safe and look after your health people,’ someone else commented.
It comes after the controversial influencer admitted she is seeking counselling over her dangerous tanning addiction following concerns raised by her parents and her new partner.
Adelaide-based Matilda uses a risky combination of tanning peptides that are not approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), and a home solarium.
The TGA warned that peptides containing melanotan, which are administered through injection, ingestion or nasal spray, can cause ‘serious health problems’.
However, the devices are still permitted for personal use, and Baxter – known on social media as Tilds Search – told the Daily Mail that she uses the $7,000 solarium in her garage at least four times per week.
‘I am not an advocate for (using tanning beds), and I will say that I am an addict. I am seeing a therapist about it,’ she said.
Baxter said her parents are ‘concerned’ about her use of tanning beds, which blast users with ultraviolet radiation that damages skin cells’ DNA.
She has been open about her surgical procedures, which have included high-definition liposuction, a boob job, hip surgery and a ‘Barbie waist’ procedure.
‘I’ve probably spent like $50,000 on my face, and the general upkeep of my look costs between $80,000 and $100,000 per year,’ she told the Daily Mail.
