Three-year-old hit and killed by car in Sydney

A three-year-old girl has died after being hit by a car in west Sydney.
The girl was hit by a car as it entered a driveway on Normanby Road, Auburn, about 2.05pm on Tuesday.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
However, she died from her injuries in hospital.
The driver, a 27-year-old man, was uninjured and was taken to Auburn Hospital for mandatory testing.
‘A crime scene has been established with an investigation into the incident underway,’ NSW Police said in a statement.

A report will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
