Soccer’s woke mob attacked me before I was forcibly removed from a women’s game… all because of my T-shirt. This is my story about the shocking viral ordeal

A conservative podcaster has spoken out after being allegedly assaulted, whipped in the face with flagpoles and forcibly hauled out of a professional women’s soccer match for wearing clothing supporting single-sex sports.
Brandi Kruse, host of the ‘unDivided’ podcast, was physically removed by security guards from Providence Park on Friday night during the Portland Thorns’ clash against the North Carolina Courage.
Kruse initially took to social media to showcase her ejection, while also highlighting the abuse that she and her group faced due to their presence inside the stadium.
Her footage captured the tense confrontations with fans, one group member having beer thrown at them and stadium security demanding she leave the stadium over her XX-XY apparel. XX-XY Athletics opposes transgender athlete inclusion in women’s sports and was founded by author and retired artistic gymnast Jennifer Sey.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail, Kruse described the terrifying scenes of mob hostility inside the stadium stands.
According to Kruse, the group kept their jackets fully zipped to conceal their apparel until the opening whistle of the second half.

‘We actually think that they suspected something around the end of the first half because we saw that the head sort of cheerleader for the supporter club – a woman who was wearing a ‘Protect Trans Kids’ shirt with a knife on it – she recognized someone in the group,’ Kruse revealed.
‘By the time the whistle blew for the start of the second half, we were surrounded by people who had trans pride flags ready,’ Kruse said.
‘As soon as we took our jackets off, then they started to wave the flags, which honestly is fine. It’s a fan section; there’s always flags waving. But then that turned into screaming and violence within moments.’
Kruse detailed how fans concealed physical strikes behind the oversized banners, lashing out at the demonstrators and working media.
‘Well, I think the most severe assault that occurred was a 57-year-old woman with our group,’ Kruse explained. ‘She’s a lesbian, a longtime Democrat, which I think makes this all the crazier. She was pushed over two rows of seating by a male Thorns fan, and she was pretty shaken up after that.
‘But you know what they do, and I see this often with sort of left-wing riots and things, is they’ll wave these flags or signs and pretend to accidentally hit you with them – like, ‘Oh, oops’ – and they’ll just keep doing it. And so, we’re basically just being whipped with trans pride flags in the face repeatedly.
‘There was also a reporter there for OutKick who was standing in a pretty neutral area just recording when his phone was knocked out of his hand. He bent down to pick it up, and they poured beer all over him.
‘So, yeah. I would say I didn’t walk away with any injuries besides my wrist, which was an injury inflicted by a security guard. But from the fans, it was mostly pushing, hitting with the end of sticks, and whipping us in the face with flags.’

Kruse identified the 57-year-old victim as a woman named Julie, confirming that a police report has been lodged.
‘It was caught on video from multiple angles, and she did file a police report right after the game with the Portland Police Department,’ Kruse revealed.
‘Actually, she talked to the man after a couple minutes had gone by, and he apologized. He said he didn’t even know why he pushed her or what people were mad at us about; he was just sort of following the mob of the crowd.’
According to FOX, the Portland Police Bureau have since confirmed that ‘two potential crimes’ took place on Friday night and that an investigation is ongoing.
Meanwhile, rather than intervening to stop the hostile crowd, venue security cracked down entirely on the demonstrators wearing the shirts.
‘I expected a bad reaction from the fans; I did not expect for us to be told we had to leave, and not the individuals who were actively blocking our view, assaulting us, and screaming at us,’ Kruse continued.
‘They would not tell us anything. A lot of the people we were with were kind of elderly, and so when they were told, ‘You need to leave,’ they just got up and left.
‘I decided, ‘I’m not going to leave. If they want me to leave, they’re going to have to own that decision.’ I said, ‘I’m not leaving of my own free will.’ And that’s when two of them grabbed me by both arms.’
Kruse detailed the physical force used to escort her through the concourse: ‘The female security guard put my arm behind my back and twisted it, which surprised me with the level of force. I had a conversation with her; it’s all on camera.

‘I said, ‘Look, I haven’t done anything wrong. I’m wearing a T-shirt. We’re the ones being assaulted. Can you just explain to me why we’re being asked to leave, but they’re not being asked to leave?”
‘And she says, ‘We’re not having that conversation down here. We can have the conversation up there’ – which they never did. They threw us out onto the streets of Portland without any explanation. We never got one.
‘Initially, a male security guard had come down, and he cleared the second row… I had asked him, ‘Why are we being removed?’ And he said, “Well, we’ll talk about that.”
‘Then he said, ‘Well, you’re standing on a chair,’ as if that was sort of a reason he threw out,’ Kruse recalled.
‘But I had stood up on a chair to get away from a scrum that was happening and the people blocking our view and hitting us. I’d gotten on the chair to escape the violence of the moment!’
Reflecting on the harrowing ordeal, Kruse warned that the nation is now locked in a dangerous struggle against ideological extremism.
‘I’m almost 40 years old, thinking, ‘What are you doing, Brandi?’ But it’s gone beyond the issue of girls’ sports. It’s Stalinism,’ Kruse explained.
‘These people are willing to use any means necessary to silence dissenting voices, and I think that’s a very scary thing for America.’

‘I think that the angrier the crowds get and the more authoritarian they act when it comes to silencing dissent, the more I feel like I have to stay involved in the fight.
‘You don’t have to agree with our cause of protecting women’s sports to understand how dangerous that is in the United States.’
The ejection has sparked immediate federal scrutiny, with the US Department of Justice confirming on Saturday that civil rights officials have stepped in.
‘The Justice Department is aware of these reports and will review the matter thoroughly,’ a DOJ spokesperson told Fox News.
‘Based on what is known so far, the conduct described appears to raise viewpoint discrimination and First Amendment questions rather than sex discrimination.’
Reacting to the DOJ intervention, Kruse argued that publicly owned sports venues cannot selectively enforce rules based on political viewpoints.
‘I think that there’s definitely viewpoint discrimination. I do wonder if, as a country, we need to start looking at politics as sort of a protected class,’ Kruse explained.
‘Providence Park is owned by the City of Portland – it’s owned by the taxpayer – and so that makes all of this all the more complicated.’

‘If you don’t want any political slogans at your games, I’m all for that. Make that a clear rule that’s evenly enforced, and then people can enjoy the games absent politics.
‘But if you’re going to allow political slogans from one side, then you have to allow it from the other, or you’re going to find yourself in the middle of these situations time and time again.’
The discrimination reportedly followed the demonstrators into the night, with Kruse sharing that a ride-share driver refused to take group members once their shirts were spotted, leaving a disabled woman stranded on a dark city street.
Friday’s demonstration was organized by women’s rights campaigner Amy Sousa, who was ejected from a Thorns match last month without explanation after wearing a shirt featuring a small XX-XY logo.
The Portland Thorns have not responded to requests for comment.
