Arab Defense Website November 6, 2024: The Russian Su-57 fifth generation fighter is set to make its debut at a foreign air show, and two aircraft have also been confirmed to have arrived in Guangdong, China, to participate in the China International Air and Space Exhibition – an event known as the Zhuhai Air Show.
The first aircraft arrived on 3 November, coming from Russia with a refueling stop at Taiyuan Wusu International Airport in northern China, while the second aircraft was flown on an An-124 heavy transport aircraft to participate in the display, but only on a static basis.
Spectators were given unprecedented access to the airworthy aircraft, with close-up images widely shared in the Western world to underscore that the fighter program suffered from highly questionable manufacturing quality.
