A leaked document reveals: “Su-57” for Algeria and “Su-35” for Iran and Ethiopia

Algeria is the first foreign customer of the “Su-57” ghost plane according to a leak of “Rostich”.

The Arab Defense website – October 5, 2025: A new document that was leaked, claimed to be issued by the giant Russian defense industries complex (Rostec), has revealed accurate details related to sales prices, delivery tables, and the advanced “Sukhoi” advice plans for a number of foreign countries, including Iran, Algeria and Ethiopia.

The documents were published on the Internet on October 3 by the electronic piracy group known as Black MirrorAnd that it announced that it had penetrated the “Rostich” systems and obtained more than 300 internal documents.

These documents include correspondence, presentations and export contracts that explain the aspects of defense cooperation between Russia and its partners abroad, in addition to logistical plans aimed at circumventing sanctions, and technical documents related to arms delivery operations. Although the leakage is not verified independently, analysts believe that its content is largely identical to what was stated in previous reports on Moscow negotiations on its military exports.

One of the pages that received the widest circulation of these documents includes a list of contracts issued by the company “KRET”, a subsidiary of “Rostich” specializing in electronic warfare systems and air navigation, and related to equipment for “Sukhoi” aircraft prepared for export. The document determines the beneficiary countries using symbols according to the Russian system of national classification: No. 364 refers to Iran, 012 to Algeria, and 231 to Ethiopia.

Airline delivery schedule for fighters, produced by the Russian company “Keret”.

According to the leaked table, Iran requested 48 SU-35 multi-task fighters, while Algeria bought 12 SU-57 aircraft of the fifth generation and 14 SU-34 offensive aircraft, while Ethiopia signed a contract to obtain six SU-35 fighters. If this information is correct, it represents the largest Russian export deal for fighters since the start of Ukraine in 2022, and indicates the growing defense relations between Moscow and a number of non -Western countries.

The document also highlights the delivery tables and production stages. For example, the Iranian “Su-35” fighters are scheduled to be shipped between the sixteenth and eighteenth months, then between the forty-sixth and forty-eight months after receiving the batch provided. Based on the assumption that Iran has paid the provider of the deal in 2022, it is expected that the components of “Kret” will be delivered to the production factories between 2024 and 2026, followed by the final assembly, aviation tests, and accreditation certificates, which means that Iran’s full delivery operations may extend between 2026 and 2028.

As for Algeria, the document indicates that the supply of the components of the SU-57 and SU-34 aircraft will be made from 2024 to 2026, which coincides with previous reports that talked about the progress of negotiations between Moscow and Algeria regarding the Russian ghost fighter from the fifth generation. In the event that these data are confirmed, Algeria will be the first foreign customer of the SU-57 plane, an important achievement of the plane program, which has faced great challenges since its launch.

Regarding Ethiopia, the documents indicate six SU-35 aircraft, which may mean that the deal has reached advanced stages, or that the deliveries have already started.

The timetables mentioned in the documents show that most of these contracts were signed before the Russian invasion of Ukraine or in the first months after it, with the delivery schedules extending to the second half of the current contract. These details also reflect the complexity of the Russian supply chain, which includes the production of electronic warfare systems, navigation and technical support, which imposes accurate coordination on Moscow between its military industry directed to export and those devoted to meeting the needs of its local army.

The article appeared a leaked document that reveals: “Su-57” for Algeria and “Su-35” for Iran and Ethiopia first on the Arab defense site.
