Media personality and podcaster Abbie Chatfield has fired back against JoJo Siwa on Instagram, after the latter alluded that Chatfield had done something “pretty bad” to Siwa’s ex-partner Kath Ebbs.
Siwa’s comments come from an appearance she made on the podcast The Viall Files with Nick Viall on April 30 after leaving the Celebrity Big Brother UK (CBBUK) house, in which she implied that Chatfield had done something “pretty bad” to Ebbs.
“The only reason why I’m OK to briefly speak about [Ebbs], is because they reposted their video and gave no context,” Siwa said.
“And then their friend — who while I was in the house, did something pretty bad to them — has been going off on social media and spread the same misinformation.”
After coming across Siwa’s cryptic comments on The Viall Files, Chatfield revealed she was “fucking confused”.
“I was fucking confused,” Chatfield said in an Instagram Story on Thursday.
“I messaged Kath, and Kath told me: ‘No what the fuck, I have no fucking idea what JoJo’s talking about’. As far as I’m concerned, Kath and I have spoken on the phone for hours about this pre and post-break up.

Chatfield also explains that because Ebbs travelled to the UK to visit Siwa at the CCBUK finale after party — the party where Siwa broke up with them — they were unable to reply to the accusation for several hours due to them travelling back to Australia.
“Everyone was so confused,” Chatfield continued in the Story.
“I think JoJo is trying to discredit me by distancing me from Kath, making out like I didn’t know what I was talking about, or that I’m a bad friend or a clout chaser.
“It was kind of like JoJo was trying to imply that Kath was using her for money.”
Chatfield also revealed in the lengthy Instagram Story that she “kept [her] mouth shut” during the pair’s relationship, seemingly for the couple’s sake. She also stated that she is not trying to make “hate JoJo Siwa” content, but rather defend her friend who has been subject to homophobic and “mean” comments.
“I do think that the wording of saying I did something ‘pretty bad’ to Kath is very inflammatory and hyperbolic,” she said.
“I don’t know what pretty bad is. Is it maybe going on a reality show and meeting a random man from Love Island while you have a partner at home and continuing to cuddle up to, flirt, and fondle that man while you’ve got a partner that’s watching?”
Chatfield’s comments refer to the relationship between Siwa and fellow CBBUK contestant, Chris Hughes, where the two were shown cuddling, kissing each other’s cheeks, and speaking in a special code around each other.

The pair have stated that their relationship was “strictly platonic”.
“We’re just messing around, we’re just being kids,” Hughes said, per E! News.
Ebbs revealed in a now-deleted TikTok video on April 26 that Siwa “dumped” them at the CBBUK after party they travelled to the UK for. They also claimed that Hughes was “in the next room” while they were being broken up with.
“I flew across the world to support and be there and hold that person in whatever they would be experiencing, leaving such a wild experience, and instead, I was dumped at the afterparty, with Chris in the next room,” Ebbs said.
“I feel incredibly humiliated, and I feel a bit embarrassed.”
Siwa stated in an airport interview with The Sun that she “wasn’t happy” throughout the relationship, and that she is no longer a lesbian.
