
Mohamed Abdel -Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received Ambassador Andreas Baum, Switzerland’s ambassador to Cairo, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of education, foremost of which is technical education and vocational training, in light of mutual interest in supporting technical skills and harmonizing education outcomes with the needs of the labor market. A concrete development in various fields, praising the Swiss support for the pre -university education sector, especially technical education, through programs and projects that are implemented in cooperation between the two sides. It raises the efficiency of the graduates and supports their opportunities in the local, regional and international labor markets. Skills, stressing that the ministry is looking to expand the scope of cooperation with Switzerland in a number of vital specialties, such as hotel, modern agriculture, and fine industries, in addition to supporting practical training programs and exchanging institutional experiences.
