All the most disturbing redacted emails in the Epstein Files as fury grows over why the names are hidden

The Epstein Files contain numerous instances in which the identities of people who sent concerning emails to the late paedophile have been redacted.
Included in the emails are repeated disturbing references to girls and young women, but the names of the senders are blacked out.
The Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA), passed by Congress in November, compelled the Justice Department to release all of the records in its possession.
It did require the redaction of identifying information about Epstein’s victims, who numbered more than 1,000 according to the FBI.
But the law said no records could be ‘withheld, delayed, or redacted on the basis of embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity, including to any government official, public figure, or foreign dignitary.’
Members of Congress were given access to unredacted versions of the files on Monday under strict conditions, and what they saw is likely to spur further outrage.

The identity of someone who sent a disturbing email to Epstein is redacted
‘I saw the names of lots of people who were redacted for mysterious or baffling or inscrutable reasons,’ Democratic congressman Jamie Raskin said. That included ‘people who were enablers and cooperators’.
Republican congressman Thomas Massie said he discovered the names of six men whose identities were redacted, and who ‘are likely incriminated by their inclusion in these files’.
Massie declined to provide their identities but said one ‘is pretty high up in a foreign government’.
One of the earliest such redactions, chronologically, came on April 24, 2009, when Epstein sent an email to an associate saying: ‘where are you? are you ok I loved the torture video.’
The unnamed person, replying from their BlackBerry, wrote: ‘I am in china I will be in the US 2nd week of may.’
Epstein responded: ‘Hope to see you.’
Massie said the email exchange appeared to be with ‘a Sultan’ and that the Justice Department should make his identity public.

Another controversial redaction features in a 2014 email in which the sender, whose identity is protected, told Epstein: ‘Thank you for a fun night… Your littlest girl was a little naughty.’
That email was sent on March 11, 2014, from an iPhone to Epstein’s account jeevacation@gmail.com.
Everything in the email is readable except for the name of the sender, which is covered with two black bars.
The email was sent six years after Epstein was jailed for procuring a minor for prostitution.
‘America deserves to know who the f*** this person is,’ wrote one X user of the email sender, a sentiment supported by many others on social media.
In another 2017 email, a redacted sender emailed Epstein to say: ‘I met (REDACTED) today. She is like Lolita from Nabokov , femme miniature 🙂 So now I should send you her type of candidates only ?’

Files released by the DOJ included numerous disturbing images of Epstein with young women
On March 19, 2018, another redacted associate sent Epstein an email saying: ‘I found at least 3 very good young poor but we was so tired. I will cover up this week. Meet this one, not the beauty queen but we both likes her a lot.’
The files also contained a draft indictment from 20 years ago, which was drawn up before Epstein obtained a lenient 2008 plea deal for sex crimes in which he served 13 months.
The 56-page draft indictment listed three people as co-conspirators employed by Epstein, but their names are redacted.
There was also a chart showing Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, but there were four other people who were redacted – three employees and a ‘girlfriend’.
Of the ‘girlfriend’ the chart says: ‘Unknown if she actually recruited or abused any of the victims. Was rumored to be Epstein’s “sex slave” and victims often described someone fitting her description as being involved in the sexual abuse during these massages.’
It says of one of the ’employees’: ‘Unknown if she was directly responsible for recruiting girls but at least 10 girls state she is the direct point of contact for scheduling his massage appointments.’
Republican congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) has been highly critical of redactions in the Epstein files

In a March 31, 2017 email, a redacted associate emailed Epstein suggesting a woman for a job.
The unnamed person wrote that ‘she wants the job badly. But not as pretty as other applicants,’ adding that she was ‘willing to do anything you ask her’.
Another candidate was described in the email as ‘not very young but beautiful’.
In a separate exchange on November 21, 2015, Epstein wrote to a redacted associate: ‘any friends for jeffrey while you are recovering?’
The unnamed emailer responded: ‘I have one closest friend, but I don’t think she’s your type. Hmm.. Maybe this, just came to mh mind: Sweet girl. 20y. American.’
They included a picture, and Epstein responded: ‘looks like you’.
The associate also sent a picture of an ‘australian, super cool, 23y, lot of fun ;))’ and told Epstein: ‘I’m always think about you when I’m meeting new girls.’
In a 2013 email, a redacted sender from a modeling agency in Paris told Epstein: ‘New Brazilian just arrived, sexy and cute, 19yo.’
The same year, a person whose name was redacted sent Epstein a photograph of a woman in a SpaceX shirt.
The following year, another redacted sender emailed Epstein from their iPhone to say: ‘I can’t take it anymore!!!!!!! I just saw the most beautiful little girl on Madison with long soft blonde hair.’
Another email from 2018 shows a redacted associate emailing Epstein to say: ‘My favorite from Lithuania, (REDACTED), 19. Will meet when I am there.’
Epstein responded: ‘full name instagram?’
A friend of Epstein emails him about being called a ‘sexual pervert’ but their name is redacted

On February 2, 2015, another redacted associate wrote to Epstein that they were getting ‘hate letters’ after reports in the press, and that ‘being called a sexual pervert is no fun.’
They wrote to Epstein: ‘the key are the 14 to 15 year old girls—i am a sexual pervert because i say they are now of a reproductive age?
‘i do hope there is no legal jeopardy for you in this new flurry of activity and my heart goes out to you brother being called a sexual pervert is no fun less so if you have served time for the crime as i have not—they are calling me one merely for not urging your death by beheading.’
The person added: ‘will be back in touch. hope you are fine and more than well protected.’
Democratic congressman Ro Khanna said there was ‘no explanation why those people were redacted’.
He added: ‘Our law was very clear. Unless something was classified, it required it to be unredacted.’
