In sad news for Chicken Shop Date’s Amelia Dimoldenberg, Andrew Garfield has seemingly hard-launched his new relationship with Monica Barbaro.
The pair were caught packing on the PDA during a recent outing at Wimbledon, where they appeared courtside to watch Sonay Kartal and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova duke it out on Centre Court.
For all you horny freaks (me), the flirtatious behaviour included cheek kisses and hand-holding, and I’m seriously weak at the knees at the sight of both.
While it is their most public display of affection, Garfield and Barbaro — known for her roles in A Complete Unknown and Top Gun: Maverick — have reportedly been quietly dating since February, and were spotted together in New York earlier this year.
Neither of them have publicly commented on the relationship, instead letting the sight of an extremely attractive pair kissing do all the talking.
Garfield and Barbaro aren’t the only couple who made waves at Wimbledon, which I guess serves as much as a celebrity kissing booth as it does a sporting event.
Last week, Olivia Rodrigo appeared courtside in the Royal Box alongside her Enola Holmes star boyfriend Louis Partridge, and the two of them were seated smack bang next to John Cena and his wife Shay Shariatzadeh.
I wonder what they spoke about? Where’s that lip-reader when you need her?
Aussie celebrities were also spotted at the starry sporting event, with Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and Rebel Wilson all mewing for the cameras as they watched loves become aces and aces become deuces.
You can thank Wii Tennis for those buzzwords.
Dave Grohl, Brooklyn Decker, David Beckham, Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow were among the other famous names to attend the two-week event, but it was Garfield and Barbaro’s appearance that stole the show.
Given all the loves going on both in the tennis scores and in the grandstands, I think I need to have myself a courtside Timmy and Kylie moment to know what true intimacy feels like.
Not spotted at Wimbledon was Dimoldenberg — who despite making the internet go feral with her Garfield date earlier this year — still has plenty of other celebrity suitors (and even more chicken nuggets) in her future.
