Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have renewed their vows in a gorgeous, secret ceremony surrounded by family. Well, Nicola’s family. Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and his siblings were nowhere to be seen — further perpetuating rumours that the young couple are beefing with the Beckham family.
The ceremony was held at the Peltz estate in Westchester County, New York State, last Saturday. Nicola looked stunning wearing her mother’s vintage wedding dress. Her father, Nelson Peltz, officiated the proceedings while the rest of her family watched on.
While it still looked like a very polished affair, the ceremony was nothing fancy compared to their original 2022 wedding, which had an estimated cost of $5 million.
In a chat with PEOPLE, Brooklyn gushed about the renewal ceremony.
“It was beautiful,” the 26-year-old said.
“We just wanted a really beautiful experience — a really cute memory.
“To be honest, I could renew my vows every single day with her. I think the most important thing that someone can do is find the person that they’re going to spend the rest of their life with. It definitely shapes you as a person. Yeah, it was really, really cute. It was really fun.”
Brooklyn had previously shared that he’d tattooed his original 2022 wedding vows on his body and now is going to have to “find space” for the new ones.
“These ones were actually longer than my original ones,” he added. Ooooft.
While the vow renewal looked like an absolutely beautiful affair, it has been raising some eyebrows due to the absence of the Beckham family.
You see, during the first wedding in 2022, whispers began circulating that Nicola and Victoria were butting heads after Nicola chose to wear a custom Valentino Haute Couture dress, rather than a dress designed by her mother-in-law.
Ever since Nicola and Brooklyn didn’t show up to David Beckham’s 50th birthday back in May, the family have been embroiled in rumours that Nicola and Brooklyn are estranged from David, Victoria and the rest of the family.
Most recently, Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz entered the chat, sharing super shady messages on Instagram that fans believe are directed to Nicola and Brooklyn.
Sadly, it’s not looking too good for the beef between families, with insider sources telling Page Six that Brooklyn and Nicola have gone no contact with David and Victoria.
Yikes! Hopefully, they’ll see eye to eye soon enough.
