Canberra Raiders v St George Illawarra Dragons scores, odds, how to watch, news, team lists

Trey Mooney scoops up the ball after Clint Gutherson drops a spiralling bomb from Jamal Fogarty and goes across to score.

It’s a magnificent try for the Raiders, but referee Gerard Sutton rules the Raiders players were in front of Fogarty from the kick and the try is taken away from Mooney despite Canberra’s protests (they sent it to the video referee).

That’s a Dragons penalty, and it proves very costly because the Red V go up the other end and Tyrell Sloan goes across to score.

Kyle Flanagan can’t convert from the right, which means the Raiders hold a narrow lead as we near half-time.

Raiders 6, Dragons 0 after 35 minutes
