Carlton rejects Swans offer for Curnow; Merrett, Petracca, Oliver still looking for deals on final day; Buckley speaks on new role; Tarryn Thomas eligible to return
Carlton have rejected Sydney’s initial offer for Charlie Curnow and are adamant the club will hold on to pick 22 if any deal is to progress.
Sydney’s offer of two first-round draft picks and players Will Hayward and Ollie Florent was formally submitted to the Blues just after 10pm on Tuesday.

In the deal, however, Carlton would need to send Curnow and pick 22 back to the Swans and the Blues are adamant that won’t be happening.
Sydney’s picks in the offer, as reported on Tuesday, are pick 11, and a 2026 first-round pick.
It does feel like a deal is getting closer and any hope Carlton fans had of keeping Curnow at the club is dwindling.
