Cody Simpson unveils his latest transformation after ditching swimming and splitting with Emma McKeon – as he channels Brad Pitt in Fight Club for new music video

Cody Simpson has swapped the pool for the gym – and the results are impossible to miss.

The Aussie swimming champ is currently soaking up the spotlight in Los Angeles, where he was spotted striding across the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, as he lived it up and enjoyed his newly single life.

The 29-year-old singer showed off a noticeably more muscular physique in a social media post, flexing his buff frame as cameras rolled on the famous strip as he promoted his latest song, When It Comes to Loving You.

In scenes from the new clip, Cody goes shirtless and appears smeared in fake blood as he gets caught up in a gritty play fight – channelling Brad Pitt’s iconic Tyler Durden from the 1999 cult classic Fight Club.

Leaning into the edgy aesthetic, Cody was also seen posing in front of an LA billboard promoting the project, which features a striking image of the star alongside the cheeky slogan: ‘The first rule of Cody Simpson is you do not talk about Cody Simpson.’ 

The singer later shared a gallery of behind-the-scenes snaps to Instagram, captioning the post simply: ‘one of the happier chaps.’ 

Fresh out of his high-profile split, Cody appears to be thriving – and it shows. 

The singer is looking leaner, stronger and noticeably more sculpted, with his toned arms and chiselled torso on full display as he worked up a sweat during filming.

Embracing a strict gym routine, Cody’s post-breakup glow-up is hard to ignore, with the star exuding confidence as he showcased his buff new physique.

Earlier this month, Cody gave fans an update on his relationship status, just over a month after his split with Emma McKeon.

It was revealed in February that Cody and Emma had called time on their relationship after four years together.

Following the news, Cody was dogged by persistent romance rumours, particularly after being spotted looking very cosy with American influencer Adelia Clark last month.

Taking to Instagram and TikTok on Tuesday, the pop star revealed that he is taking some ‘me time’ following his split with Emma.

Cody shared a short clip that showed him posing nonchalantly by a basketball court as his track Baby Blue played over the scene.

While he remained mute in the clip, Cody’s caption revealed he is currently very much single.

‘No girlfriend, gym x4 per week, reading daily,’ he wrote.

Continuing, Cody did tease that there may be a special someone who may be the current object of his affections.

‘One delusional crush, making music again, new little neck tat, I am not 30,’ he added.

‘Life is good.’

Cody’s post comes after rumours of a romance with Adelia Clark began to swirl, just two weeks after his split with Emma was revealed. 

The pair looked very comfortable in each other’s company at a Los Angeles café, with Cody wrapping his arm around the brunette’s shoulders and pulling her towards his chest as they walked side-by-side.  

After realising they had been photographed, however, the pair quickly separated, with Adelia turning away in an attempt to hide her face. 

The sighting came just two weeks after news broke of his separation from Olympic swimming champion Emma after four years together.

Cody’s sister Alli confirmed the rumours they had split late last year on The Morning Show, saying her brother and the Olympic athlete had ‘moved on’ from one another.  

The couple, who began dating in April 2022, sparked breakup speculation after it appeared as if they were living increasingly separate lives.
