A podcast host who discusses conspiracy theories, the occult, and magick has been revealed as the man charged with the murder of a 30-year-old woman in eastern Perth.
Tobias Nuttall, 32, appeared in the Midland Magistrates Court on Friday after his arrest at a home on Reid St in Bassendean earlier this week.
He is accused of killing the young woman, who is believed to have been known to him.
Emergency services were called to the property about 12.30pm on Wednesday, where they found a woman critically injured.
She was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital to undergo emergency surgery during the afternoon but she later died.
Nuttall’s British co-host, Dale, from their podcast Waking World, released a solo episode on Friday confirming the charge.
‘Why is Toby not going to be involved in (the podcast)? It’s nothing to do with whether we’ve fallen out,’ Dale said.
‘It’s much worse than that. Toby has been charged, or is being charged today, with a very, very serious offence over in Perth, something that happened on Wednesday.’

Nuttall is due to appear in the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on September 17.
