Dave Portnoy has expressed confusion over Russell Wilson and Ciara’s marriage after brutally labeling the retired NFL star a ‘zero’.
Wilson has been married to the American singer and model since 2016, with the power couple celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary earlier this week.
They share three children together in daughters Sienna, 9, and Amora, 2, and son Win Harrison, 6. Ciara is also mom to son Future Zahir, 12, from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
Yet despite their decade-long marriage, Portnoy has claimed he doesn’t understand ‘how that couple works’.
During their ‘Wake Up’ podcast on Monday, the Barstool Sports chief and his co-hosts were analyzing photos of high-profile sporting figures who attended Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding when a selfie of Ciara and Wilson popped up.
‘Ciara’s one of the most stunning women in the world, he’s a zero,’ he savagely claimed. ‘I don’t know how that couple works.’

When one of the co-hosts then argued that Wilson looked ‘bad a**’ in his tux for the wedding, Portnoy added: ‘Yeah, until he opens his mouth.’
Wilson called time on his NFL career last month, confirming in a video posted to social media that he’s walking away to take a job with CBS Sports.
The 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback and Super Bowl champion’s announcement came two days after news broke that he was finalizing a deal to become an analyst on CBS’ Sunday NFL pregame show.

Wilson played 14 seasons after being taken by Seattle in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft out of N.C. State.
He spent his first 10 seasons with the Seahawks, leading them to their first Super Bowl championship in the 2013 season.

He was traded to Denver after the 2021 season and spent two rocky years with the Broncos before playing one season in Pittsburgh and another for the New York Giants.
Wilson threw for 46,966 yards, with 353 touchdown passes and 114 interceptions.
He joins Peyton Manning and Dan Marino as the only quarterbacks to throw at least 20 touchdown passes in each of their first three seasons and is one of seven quarterbacks to be selected to 10 Pro Bowls.
Wilson is heading to CBS Sports to replace Matt Ryan, who joined the Atlanta Falcons as president of football after two seasons on ‘The NFL Today’.
He had considered returning for a 15th season in the NFL, telling the New York Post last month that he was mulling an offer to join the New York Jets and back up Geno Smith.
