Donna Kelce reveals how much of a Taylor Swift fan she is with dig at Travis’s ex-girlfriends on ‘Traitors’
Donna Kelce made her feelings about son Travis’s ex-girlfriends very clear ahead of her appearance on the new season of ‘The Traitors’.
The mother of NFL heroes Travis and Jason, and the soon-to-be mother-in-law of Taylor Swift, was asked who should would not want to see as a fellow contestant in the show.
And the 73-year-old had an unequivocal answer.
‘Maybe some of my sons’ adversaries,’ she said. ‘That could either be on other teams, or it could be coaches, or it could be past girlfriends.’
The comments have been widely considered to be a shot at some of Travis’s exes, considering that her oldest son Jason has been married for seven years to Kylie Kelce. They have four daughters together.
But before Kansas City Chiefs star Travis went public with his Taylor romance in September 2023, he dated influencer Kayla Nicole in an on-off romance from 2017 until 2022.

When Nicole herself appeared on ‘Special Forces’ – a realty bootcamp show – she opened up on her split with Kelce, saying: ‘Going through a public breakup, just to be frank, it’s been overwhelming. I’ve never experienced anything like it.
‘I’m a very confident person, but dealing with trolls or just hate online, I constantly feel like I’m in a state of vulnerability.’
Prior to her, Kelce briefly dated Maya Benberry after the 2016 reality dating show that he hosted called ‘Catching Kelce’.
As for the show itself (spoilers ahead), Kelce praised the influence and encouragement that she received from Travis and Jason before appearing on the popular show.
‘They’re so excited. They’re huge fans,’ Donna said. ‘I’m so excited to be here, I never thought in a million years I would get this chance.
‘When you get to a certain part in your life and your kids are starting their own families, it’s so important to reinvent yourself. Do the things you’ve always dreamt of. And that’s how I ended up in Scotland (where the show is filmed).’
She didn’t last too long on the game, however. After being awarded the role of ‘secret traitor’ she was voted off early on by the ‘faithful’ contestants who correctly suspected that she was suspiciously quiet.
‘Playing a traitor was tough, but I gave it my best shot. This has been a dream come true,’ Donna said, getting tearful.
She added: ‘These are happy tears that I get to do this at this point in my life. It’s just the joy of being in the game.’
