Double explosion in a hotel in Abu Dhabi

A double explosion occurred in a hotel in Abu Dhabi,. The incident was recorded on videotape. Locals are worried that a missile might hit the building.

Footage from the scene shows the burning building. Some eyewitnesses claimed that a missile was fired at him. Other footage shows emergency services rushing to the scene.

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense said that the fire was caused by an explosion of a gas cylinder in a building on Hamdan Street.
The UAE civil defense teams confirmed that no one was injured and that the fire was under control.

It was reported on social media that the explosion occurred 20 kilometers from the hotel of the Brazilian football team “Palmeiras”, which is participating in the UEFA Club World Cup. Several police cars and ambulances were seen parked along the central road outside the hotel.
