EMMA GRITT: Why taking part in Dry January could be pointless

There are an estimated 17 million Britons who have signed up to take part in this year’s Dry January, an annual abstinence challenge that sees people quit booze for a month.

But one expert has claimed that if you’re doing Dry January to try and reset your relationship with alcohol, it is a bit pointless.
