
A man has been arrested after a fatal stabbing.
Emergency services were called to Clouta Place in Emu Plains, west Sydney, about 6.45pm on Thursday.
Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command arrived to find a man – believed to be aged in his 50s – with multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
Paramedics attempted to treat the man at the scene but he could not be revived.
A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
He was taken to Penrith Police Station.
It’s understood about dozen police cars, ambulances and the police helicopter responded to the incident.
A crime scene was established and investigations have commenced.
