Field teams roam Abu Simbel and Toshka to register beneficiaries for comprehensive health insurance

The authority explained that it pays special attention to the far and remote areas within Aswan Governorate, to ensure that health services reach all citizens without exception by supporting these areas with active field teams that include trained and experienced personnel, capable of completing registration and providing services with high efficiency.
The authority indicated, These teams work intensively to cover the needs of citizens in the shortest possible time, then return to their original locations after the service is stabilized and its provision is completed to all beneficiaries, stressing that the goal is for the comprehensive health insurance system to run smoothly and without any field problems.
In implementation of the directives of Dr. Ihab Abu Aish, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance, an integrated team from the Registration and Issuance Department of the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance immediately moved to Beneficiaries, to the tourist city of Abu Simbel, located about 280 kilometers south of the city of Aswan, with the aim of accelerating the pace of registration and updating the data of families benefiting from the new system.

And updating it continuously, in line with the state’s direction towards building a unified and comprehensive database for health services in Egypt.
She stressed that the authority relies on a flexible mechanism that ensures that the service reaches citizens in all regions, through mobile teams sent to places that need urgent support or quick services, noting that the authority was keen to provide all the technical and administrative capabilities to those teams, and to provide awareness to citizens about the importance of registering and receiving cards. Utilization, with the activation of the medical referral system to direct cases that need advanced interventions to specialized hospitals.
Dr. Souad Abdel Majeed indicated that the authority sent a team to train workers in the Aswan branch and the outlets, on effective communication skills and problem-solving methodology, and to visit some of the outlets to ensure the administrative discipline of the workers, supervisors, and outlet specialists, and to review the course. The authority’s advisor indicated that the mission began by assigning port specialists from With competence and experience to carry out a mobile field mission for one week within the Abu Simbel Family Medicine Unit, where the team succeeded in registering and updating the data of 2,300 family files to date, while referring cases that need advanced services to Abu Simbel International Hospital, affiliated with the Health Care Authority.
She continued: This mission came as a continuation of the first days of work, as during the last period work began in Abu Simbel with a system of regular shifts that continued for Over the course of two weeks, three days a week, during which the team was able to register 2,608 family files, while the plan aims to reach more than 7,000 beneficiaries during the current phase, including all residents of the city and its areas. The authority indicated that the printing and distribution of these cards comes in implementation of the political leadership’s mandate to quickly enable citizens to obtain the service without delay, explaining that an urgent plan has been developed to cooperate with government agencies, civil society and places of worship to deliver the cards as quickly as possible.
