Fired Love Island USA’s Alannah Keyser Apologises N-Word Video

After being quietly dumped from the Love Island USA villa, Casa Amor bombshell Alannah Keyser has issued an apology after old social media posts of her using a racial slur went viral during her short time on the show.
Days after she was officially ‘fired’, the 21-year-old student shared a TikTok, apologising for a resurfaced video of her singing along to Roddy Ricch‘s “The Box”, which included the n-word.
“Hi everyone, I’m coming on here to address some things that have been circulating online,” Alannah began.
“I do want to begin by addressing the video of me singing along to a Roddy Ricch song that contains a racial slur. I’m sorry to whoever seen that video and has been offended by it. That was never my intention. The video is from six years ago, and that word is just not in my vocabulary anymore.”
Alannah slammed “screenshots” that feature her using racial slurs, claiming that they’ve been “falsified”.
“What has been shared does not reflect the truth, and it’s never been in my character to discriminate against anybody’s skin colour,” Alannah continued.
“I do want to say directly that I do not support racism or discrimination of any kind, and I never have. When I first found out that these things were going around online, it really broke my heart, and I couldn’t do anything about it.
“But this has definitely been a learning lesson for me, and it sucks that I didn’t get a chance to really show my personality and who I am.”

After the video was cut short, text appeared on the screen, which read: “It’s always been in my nature to spread positivity and help others, and I will continue to do so.”
Alannah’s apology comes weeks after fellow fired islander, Vasana Montgomery, shared her own statement after she was dropped from Love Island USA days before it was set to premiere.
To give you a recap, Vasana never entered the villa after videos of her using the n-word went viral after the announcement of the 2026 cast.
“I wanted to address a couple of videos from my teen years that have recently resurfaced. In those videos, I used a racial slur. There is no excuse for it, and I am deeply sorry,” Vasana wrote in a now-expired IG Story, shared in early June.
“I am embarrassed and disappointed by my words. I take full responsibility for what I said and understand why it has hurt and upset people.”
Vasana went on to say that “growth does not erase [her] mistake” and that she isn’t asking to be excused from her past.
“I believe people should be held accountable for their actions, but I also believe in growing, learning, and becoming better,” she continued.
“To anyone I hurt or disappointed, I am truly sorry.”

In 2025, Love Island USA‘s Yulissa Escobar was dumped in episode two after a video of her using the n-word went viral, and weeks later, Cierra Ortega was also axed after past posts of hers using an anti-Asian slur resurfaced.
Both ex-islanders apologised for their actions. However, with this year’s scandals, fans are urging the network to do better when it comes to vetting potential castmates.
