Harry Potter’s Jessie Cave Was Banned From A Fan Event Thanks To Her OnlyFans Account
Harry Potter star Jessie Cave has revealed she was banned from appearing at a fan convention due to the content she shares on OnlyFans.

If you missed a chapter, Cave — who portrayed Lavender Brown in three Harry Potter movies — revealed in March that she had joined the adult platform to share fetish content based around her hair.
Cave announced the career pivot in a Substack post, saying she wouldn’t be sharing explicit sexual content but promising subscribers plenty of “hair sounds” and “very sensual stuff” with her blonde locks.

Months later, the actress has again taken to Substack to reveal she was excluded from an upcoming Harry Potter fan convention because organisers said it was a “family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn”.
“I found out that I didn’t get booked for a Harry Potter convention recently, as I’m now doing OnlyFans,” Cave wrote. “They explained it was because it’s a ‘family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn.’”
Cave went on to make the excellent point that other actors who’ve done sex scenes wouldn’t be excluded from conventions, despite those scenes being NSFW and family un-friendly.
“This was baffling to me as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films in which they’ve done sex scenes and nudity,” Cave said.
“I’m just playing with my hair!” she added.
The actress said she wasn’t all that fussed about the snub, since she’s been to plenty of conventions in the past and is preparing to have her place taken by a whole new class of Hogwarts students with the upcoming HBO TV series.
“I am not upset about the prospect of no more Harry Potter conventions. There’s going to be a new cast now and it’s a different time. Plus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia,” Cave wrote.
While she has to count herself out of that convention, Cave will no-doubt keep busy updating followers on her OnlyFans journey through her Substack.
In fact, Cave said it was her writing career, and its need to be financed, that inspired her to launch an OnlyFans account when she elaborated on the business move in an Instagram post earlier this year.
“I do get lots of interest in the hair thing, and I just thought, fuck it, I’m gonna do something that is very niche,” she said at the time.
“I really am choosing to think of this as an empowering moment for me, because I have been this very kind of straight, prim actress for a lot of my career,” she added.
