The Ministry of Health and Population has announced the completion of the first and second stages of the field survey of the Tracoma & LDQUO disease & rdquo; In the Fayoum and Beni Suef governorates, where 18,100 people over the age of 15 were examined. & lrm;
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman of the Ministry, explained that the first stage lasted for two weeks and included centers & ldquo; Fayoum, Youssef Al -Siddiq, Sennras, Ibshaway, Etisa, Tamiya & rdquo; In Fayoum Governorate, while the second stage targeted the Al -Fashn Center in Beni Suef Governorate for 5 days during July 2025. The survey guarantees the provision of awareness services and the application of sustainable preventive measures, which enhances the health of citizens, ensures fair access to health services, and supports the Egyptian health system in achieving its goal by eliminating Tracoma.
