Horror as rifle-wielding gunman unleashes hell on Idaho In-N-Out, opening fire from drive-thru as police swarm scene
A gunman armed with a long rifle is being sought in an urgent manhunt in Twin Falls, Idaho after opening fire at an In-N-Out burger restaurant.
An image from the scene showed the at-large suspect in the drive-thru area of the restaurant on Saturday, wielding a large weapon resembling an assault rifle.
It is unclear if there are any injuries or deaths, with Twin Falls police officers telling KMTV at the scene that they are actively looking for the gunman.
Other officers from the Idaho State Police, Jerome Police Department and Buhl Police Department from surrounding areas have also joined in the search.
Rock Creek Fire Chief Aaron Zent told the local outlet that officers were searching a hotel that overlooks the visitor center, including the In-N-Out location, for the suspect.
The Twin Falls Police Department said around 5:40pm Eastern Time that it was introducing a lockdown in the area and closing multiple roads and bridges, and urged local residents to avoid the area.
