In the new issue of the Golden Book: Pens that confronted terrorism and dropped the masks of the Brotherhood
The new issue of the Golden Book – September 2025 – was published under the editorship of Ayman Abdel Majeed, entitled “Pens that Confronted Terrorism… Writers and Thinkers Who Dropped the Masks of the Brotherhood.” Which included articles by nearly twenty writers and thinkers who confronted with their pens the extremism and terrorism of the banned Brotherhood from the beginning of its founding in 1928 until its departure in 2013. The book dealt with the ideas of the banned group and its danger in spreading sedition, extremism, and terrorism, and its relationship with the occupation and Zionist ideas.
The book included articles by leading writers: Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad, Ihsan Abdel Quddus, Muhammad Al-Tabei, Ahmed Hamroush, Adel Hamouda, Salah Hafez, Philip Jalab, Abdel Sattar Al-Tawila, Mahmoud Al-Tohamy, Wahid Hamed, Mufid Fawzi, Fathi Ghanem, Counselor Muhammad Saeed Al-Ashmawi, Karam Jabr, Muhammad Youssef Al-Azizi, and Hamdi Rizk, in addition to articles and analyzes by Helmi Al-Namnam. Tharwat Al-Kharbawi and Abdul Qader Shuhaib.
Editor-in-Chief Ayman Abdel Majeed said in his introduction to the book: Whoever does not read history consciously cannot comprehend the present or anticipate the future, and whoever does not learn from the mistakes of the past is at risk of repeating them… The heavy prices that Egypt paid, in the face of extremism and terrorism, are in the blood of its righteous martyrs, and the dangers to which the nation is exposed, and the attempts to obliterate national identity, and the aggression against true religion, in an effort to For fascism to come to power, it is necessary to continue the battle to strengthen the fortresses of consciousness.
He added: There is no more dangerous challenge than extremism and terrorism, the repeated waves of which over the decades have tried to undermine national state institutions, tamper with the constants of identity, and hijack minds, by riding them on the way to seizing the seat of government.
The editor-in-chief of the Golden Book explained that this book, which is in your hands, is a document that includes, between its books, the articles and testimonies of 19 giants of thought and journalism, since the inception of the terrorist Brotherhood organization, and over the decades until today, they have dropped the masks of the Brotherhood, including 12 of the late giants, and 7 contemporaries.
The vast majority of these articles were published in the publications of the “Rosal Youssef” Foundation. Witnessing one hundred years of Egypt’s history, there is nothing better than laying a brick in the fortresses of awareness for contemporary and future generations as we celebrate the centenary of “Rosal Youssef.” Part of the book is articles written by professors and experts in extremist organizations, to be presented in one hearty meal to contemporary and successive generations, fortifying minds against targeting attempts, making it difficult for the terrorist organization to return to deceive generations. Which did not live up to their crimes, and did not pay the heavy prices that Egypt paid with the blood of its righteous martyrs.
