Manchester City kick off their 2026/27 Champions League campaign with a visit to Porto, having made a perfect start to their Premier League title tilt.

City are embarking on their first European season without Pep Guardiola in 10 years, with Enzo Maresca at the helm for their fifth meeting with the Portuguese giants.

After back-to-back wins against Bournemouth and Crystal Palace City clung on for a nervy win against promoted side Coventry last time out and will be hoping for a more convincing performance on Tuesday night.

Porto have also made an unbeaten start to their domestic season and are back in Europe’s top competition after a two-year absence.

Nico O’Reilly was forced to withdraw in the warm-up against Coventry after sustaining a back injury and is likely to miss out, with Jeremy Doku expected to remain on the sidelines with a calf issue.

Porto will be without the suspended Jan Bednarek while Victor Froholdt will be absent after he was knocked unconscious in their game aaginst Moreirense.
