Ivanka Trump pays understated tribute to her late mom… just days after sidestepping Melania’s movie premiere
Ivanka Trump truly is her mother’s daughter – in every sense!
The First Daughter dazzled as she stepped out for a charity event in honor of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital on Thursday night, wearing a piece of clothing very close to her heart.
Trump, 44, wore an eye-catching beaded white fringe cocktail dress, previously owned by her late mother, Ivana Trump, who passed away in 2022.
The tribute comes just one week after she skipped the premiere for stepmom Melania Trump’s feature film premiere in Washington, D.C.
Instead, she was spotted at a high-profile JPMorgan Chase & Co event in Miami Beach, where she lives with husband Jared Kushner, and their three children.
Trump’s intricate 90s Bob Mackie mini dress features a high neckline and short sleeves. It is covered in beaded fringes and boasts a cut-out in the mid-section.
It’s not known how much the vintage piece would cost to buy but a similar version in gold is currently on sale for over $7,000 on 1stDibs.
Trump paired the special dress with white pointed heels and a silver sequined rectangle clutch. She wore her long, blonde hair up with a few loose locks out and framing her face.

The mom-of-three took to Instagram to share some snaps from the event, including a family picture alongside brothers Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr, as well as their partners Lara Trump and Bettina Anderson.
‘Twenty years. Over $50 million raised. Countless children given hope,’ Trump captioned the post.
She continued, calling the evening a testament to brother Eric’s ‘big heart and unwavering commitment to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital,’ before reflecting on her mother’s legacy.
‘Though our mother is no longer with us, her spirit filled the room,’ she wrote.
‘I felt her especially close, wearing a dress that once belonged to her. Mom would have been so proud of you baby brother! Legacy isn’t just what we build, but the love we carry forward.’
It’s not the first time Trump has worn the gorgeous piece.
In 2023, she wore the flapper-style dress for music manager Myles Shear’s 30th birthday bash at Faena Hotel Miami Beach.
The white Bob Mackie dress was also famously worn by her mother at a Studio 54 party they attended together in 2002.

Trump also dipped into her mother’s wardrobe for another Bob Mackie number in 2019, wearing another iconic design to fashion designer Misha Nonoo’s wedding.
Similar to the white ensemble, the cocktail dress featured a high neck and layers of sequined fringe in a white, gold, and black ombre.
The dress was first spotted on Ivana at a gala event in 1991.
Ivana, who was the former president’s first wife, was found dead at the age of 73 in her New York townhouse in July 2022, after sustaining blunt impact injuries as a result of a fall down the stairs.
