Ladies Day is BACK! Revellers don feathers, furs and high heels as Cheltenham’s most glamorous event returns for the first time in seven years
Ladies Day has made its glamorous return to Cheltenham, with guests showing up in their droves with feather, furs and high heels aplenty.
Famous faces like Georgia Toffolo and presenter Josie Gibson were joined by revellers sporting gravity-defying fascinators, bright yellow tailored suits and a sea of tweed, on day two of the races.
In 2020, it was renamed ‘Festival Wednesday’ and was further rebranded as ‘Style Wedensday’ in 2025.
But now the decades’ old title has made a triumphant comeback, inviting female attendees to show up in their finest ensembles.
Darts sensation Luke Littler’s girlfriend Faith Millar made the most of the sunny weather in a hot pink strapless dress, while others made statements with theatrical headwear.
One fashioned a green hat into a countryside scene, and another sported a fluffy white fascinator that looked like a cloud.

Georgia Toffolo, 31, wore a deer print coat and ‘hairy’ stilettos to lead the glamour on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old, who plans her outfits months in advance was lamenting how her furry shoes from Western Affair were not faring too tell in the mud.
She looked incredible wearing her coat which she sourced from eBay over a Gucci jumper and a mini skirt from Maje.
Keeping on the furry theme, she carried a shearling bag from Dior wore a camel-coloured hat from JT Millinery.
Georgia’s husband was not with her on the day amid his Brewdog business woes, but that should come as no surprise.
He previously joined her at the horse racing but decided it wasn’t for him.
Georgia shared some pictures of her look on social media on Wednesday and wrote: ‘Day two at Cheltenham… here we go again. I feel reallyyyy special in this outfit.

‘I’ve been attending Cheltenham for as long as I can remember, and every year it gets trickier trying to think outside the box while still weaving in the heritage and style of Cheltenham that we all love.
‘I do slightly worry I may have pushed the fashion boundaries a little far this time…
‘Because yes, I can confirm I am wearing hairy pointed stilettos to Cheltenham.
‘And of course I searched high and low for the prettiest brolly in the land – as we all know Cheltenham never fails to provide a little scattering of rain.
‘P.S. My shearling Dior saddlebag is the one thing I would grab in a fire.’
Elsewhere, Josie Gibson arrived on the arm of farrier Sam Wolfenden who has appeared on This Morning before.
Royals including Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall and her husband were in attendance, as well as Queen Camilla.
Zara was elegant as ever in a grey and burgundy coat and matching fascinator, while the King’s wife looked ready for spring in a light tan jacket and feathered hat.
Elsewhere, the Princess of Wales’ mother Carole Middleton was stylish in a navy hat and coat.
Ladies Day is known as the most fashionable day at Cheltenham – and there is also a Best Dressed competition. According to Gloucestershire Live, there are also goodies to be claimed, as ‘the first 200 women entering the Centaur events space will be treated to a complimentary welcome spritz’.
Whilst there were plenty of glamorous women at Tuesday’s event, the men certainly held their own, with some opting for brightly coloured statement suits, wacky windcheaters and overcoats.
Spirits were high as revellers gathered around large screens to watch the action unfold as drinks flowed freely.

Celebrities including Luke Littler joined King Charles’ niece Zara Tindall – a regular fixture at the races – who was spotted with her husband Mike.
The big race of the day was the Champion Hurdle where Lossiemouth – who is fondly known as the ‘Queen of Cheltenham’ – cruised to victory.
The ‘star mare’ won both the 2024 and 2025 winner of the Mares’ Hurdle and was the favourite 7/5 ahead of Tuesday’s race.
Trainer Willie Mullins told ITV: ‘She’s a star mare. To come back four years in a row, let alone win, that is incredible.
‘When I put her cheek pieces on her I thought, wow, that’s the old Lossiemouth.’
Lossiemouth’s jockey Paul Townend said: ‘It’s easy when they have as much ability as she does. She turns up and she does her business.’
Meanwhile, the League Against Cruel Sports has called for a ‘boycott’ of the races following the death of a horse earlier on Tuesday.
Hansard, an eight-year-old gelding, suffered a fall while running on the flat in the Singer Arkle Challenge Trophy Novices’ Chase – the second race of the day.
The Jockey Club, which owns and operates Cheltenham Racecourse, said it was deemed the best course of action for him was to be ‘humanely euthanised’.
Emma Slawinski, chief executive of the charity, told the BBC: ‘The death of Hansard will sadden all animal lovers but tragically it’s not a surprise, as every year horses are raced to their deaths at the Cheltenham Festival.’
