Three men and a woman have been arrested over the stabbing death of a man at a park on the NSW South Coast last month.
Police were called to East Street in Bega at about 2am on October 6, where Gordon Kessey, 43 was found suffering from stab wounds in a nearby park. He was unable to be revived.
A second man, aged 45, was also found with stab wounds. He was taken to South East Regional Hospital in a stable condition and later released.
As part of the investigation, officers searched a unit in Bega on October 30, seizing a knife and electronic devices. No one was home during the raid.
A public tip-off later prompted detectives and divers to search a nearby property and the Glebe Wetlands on East Street, where further items were recovered. Police also seized two vehicles for forensic examination.
Following extensive inquiries, police arrested three men aged 32, 34 and 29, and a 19-year-old woman at homes in Bega and Bemboka on Thursday morning.
They were still being interviewed by police on Thursday afternoon. No charges have led been laid.
Police warned that more arrests could follow.

‘It’s a good result for the local Bega community,’ he said.
Investigations under Strike Force Nakstone continues.
Shortly after Mr Kessey’s death, his partner, Amanda Manton, shared a tribute on social media.
‘I loved you with all my heart,’ she wrote. ‘Eleven years of us together.’
Ms Manton added her partner had struggled with drug addiction and had served time behind bars, but ‘changed his life for the better’ after meeting her.
