Minister of Health: Empowering youth is an essential investment in community health and development

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, witnessed a dialogue session entitled “Forming an Inclusive Future: Youth Innovation, Work, and Leadership.” Within the activities of the World Conference on Population, Health and Human Development PHDC25.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stressed the Ministry’s belief that investing in youth is an investment in community health and development, pointing to cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to create integrated paths that support youth participation in improving health services, enhancing awareness, and developing innovative projects to build a stronger and more prepared health system.
He highlighted that the partner ministry contributed to removing barriers for youth, providing platforms for learning and innovation, and supporting initiatives that launch Their energies in all governorates, which enhances a supportive environment for youth entrepreneurship.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Ministry’s official spokesman, explained that the session discussed the role of youth entrepreneurship and innovation in leading comprehensive and sustainable growth, by exploring opportunities for green, digital and creative economies, and shaping the future of work, while examining the systemic barriers to finance, markets and decent work, discussing policy and institutional solutions, and the role of the private sector in expanding equitable opportunities for all, including women and people with disabilities.
