The Council of Muslim Elders, headed by the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, expressed its sincere condolences to the Republic of Indonesia for the victims of the floods and landslides that struck the island of Sumatra, resulting in dozens of victims and the displacement of thousands.
